A look at the latest transfer news and rumours from around Carlisle United’s division…
CURLE LANDS FORMER FREE-KICK FOE
Hartlepool United have brought Matty Dolan back for a second spell from Newport County.
The experienced midfielder has joined on loan ahead of a permanent deal.
It sees Dolan, who scored two free-kicks against Keith Curle’s Carlisle in the same game in 2017, now link up with the ex-Blues boss.
“This is a key signing for us,” said Curle, whose Monkey Hangers visit Brunton Park on January 24.
STEVENAGE BOLSTER TITLE-CHASING SQUAD
Stevenage boss Steve Evans has signed Wycombe Wanderers' attacking midfielder Daryl Horgan.
The 30-year-old has joined on loan until the end of the season.

BLUEBIRDS SIGN BROTHER OF EX-BLUE
Barrow have completed a deal for Bohemians’ Rory Feely.
The defender – younger brother of former Carlisle loanee Kevin – has signed an 18-month contract.
He joins the returning Elliot Newby through the door at Holker Street.
“We are always looking for different avenues to recruit and this signing [Feely] is a great example of that,” manager Pete Wild told Barrow’s website.
SADDLERS TAKE THE LOW ROAD
Walsall have strengthened their play-off chasing squad with Bristol City’s Joe Low.
The 20-year-old defender has joined the Saddlers on loan until the end of the season.
“He’s six foot five, quick, he’s good on the ball, he’s strong and for a 20-year-old, he’s very aggressive which is not always the case these days,” enthused Walsall boss Michael Flynn.
CLUSTER LINKED WITH QUAKER
Darlington’s Jack Lambert is interesting teams in League Two, according to reports.
The 23-year-old midfielder has impressed for the National League North leaders.
And Hartlepool United and Colchester United, as well as league One outfit Cambridge United, are monitoring Lambert, according to Football League World.

The Brighton & Hove Albion man is attracting interest from third-tier Bristol Rovers, according to the Daily Express.
They say Leonard has also caught the eye of Morecambe, Forest Green Rovers, Swansea City and Preston North End.
DONS LOSE MIDFIELD ACE
AFC Wimbledon will be without Paris Maghoma for the rest of the season.
He has been recalled by parent club Brentford midway through a loan deal.
Midfielder Maghoma made 24 appearances for the Dons, recently suffering an ankle injury.
FYLDE STAR A WANTED MAN
AFC Fylde’s ex-Carlisle management team could face a fight to hold onto midfield star Nick Haughton.
Football Insider claims Grimsby Town, Northampton Town and Rochdale are all eyeing the 28-year-old, who has impressed with goals and assists this season.
Fylde, sixth in National League North, are managed by former Blues midfielder Adam Murray, while ex-United boss Chris Beech is director of football.
GILLS BRING IN DUO
Struggling Gillingham have bolstered their backroom team with two key appointments.
Andy Hessenthaler and Kenny Jackett have both joined League Two’s bottom club.
Ex-Gills boss Hessenthaler has been named head of recruitment with Jackett coming in as director of football.
It follows the recent takeover by American businessman Brad Galinson.
