Former Carlisle United loan star Dynel Simeu has made a League One move.
The defender has joined Morecambe on loan from Southampton until the end of the season.
Simeu had spent the first half of the campaign on loan with Carlisle's fourth-tier rivals Tranmere Rovers.
But he now steps up a division with Derek Adams' Shrimps, who are third bottom of League One, after being recalled by his parent club.
The 20-year-old said his previous loan experience, which included a popular half-season spell at United last season, will help equip him for his new challenge.
“I’m happy to get this deal over the line and really looking forward to playing in League One for this football club," said Simeu on Morecambe's website.
“I’ve enjoyed two good loan spells in League Two where I learned a lot, and hope to bring this experience into my time here at Morecambe.
“This is a great club with a fantastic fan base who I’ve heard really get behind the team, so I can’t wait to sample that and to get started here.”
Morecambe boss Adams added: "Dynel will gives us competition for places at centre-half, which is going to be really important for us at this stage of the season.
"He's done really well at League Two level with Tranmere Rovers already this season, and has a good amount of experience at EFL level already.
"He's powerful, good in the air, very quick and decent on the ball, and we're looking forward to him joining us here."
Simeu could make his debut against Cheltenham Town on Saturday.
The ex-Chelsea prospect made 18 appearances for United last term, and has played 17 times for Tranmere this term.
