Carlisle United striker Sam Fishburn was back on the scoresheet as he ended his loan club’s goal drought.
The teenage forward was on target in the first half of Morpeth Town’s 2-2 draw with Matlock Town.
It was Morpeth’s first goal in six games as 19-year-old Fishburn, who is on a season-long loan from the Blues, slid home a close-range cross.
The draw – in which ex-Carlisle man Connor Thomson got Morpeth’s other goal – ended a six-game losing run for the Highwaymen in Northern Premier League Premier Division.
They sit 18th in the table.
The wait is finally over! 🙌

It was a 13th league start for 19-year-old Kilsby in Peter Murphy’s side, who are fifth in Scottish League Two.
Kilsby’s half-season loan is up this month, likewise Lewis Bell at Gretna 2008.
Winger Bell got his latest start in Gretna’s 2-0 Lowland League defeat at Stirling University.
The 20-year-old Carlisle pro played the full game as two first-half penalties cost Michael McIndoe’s side, who are 15th in the table.
