Carlisle United fans shared their frustration with the News & Star when we asked for their views on Twitter after the 1-0 defeat to Harrogate Town.

Lots of possession but no finish. Could we have gone three up top before the OG? At least we have a week to clear heads and look to bounce back. Maybe some changes are needed to freshen things up without undermining confidence. (@BruceVander)

Frustrating. Didn't have the spark to unlock them and the longer it went on did worry about one break or chance for them. But didn't expect that. Very very frustrating. With players not sure what to do different. Maybe go three at back and extra one up top (@McCarlisle1)

Flat. Own goal was shocking. Didn’t really turn up. Still top three so not a disaster (@parkinsonross)

Frustrating. They defended well to keep us out and made a lot of blocks and last ditch tackles. Sadly they were full of antics and ref was the usual poor League Two standard. Unfortunate with the OG which makes it all the more frustrating that they did nothing to earn the three points (@3ddiew)

They had 0 shots on target, infuriating. I don’t think we were shocking, just very jaded after the run of games. Simmo was right to switch things, but to me at half-time we should have made changes. Devitt should have come on earlier. Garner too, a scrappy game suited him more. (@MarkWhitfield2)

Easy to say now but some like Guy looked leggy, Mox dead balls were well off…as for the ref…could tell from when he made us re take the kick-off he was gonna be a tool. Barclay is decent but we then only have Armer as a wing back. (@paulmason2000)

Very much after the Lord Mayor’s Show for me today. No quality from the numerous dead balls and an absolute shocker for their goal. Big test of character now and fingers crossed Moxon isn’t knackered. Don’t ask me about the ref (@ReiverPaul)

When is a bogey team not a bogey team...we just can't beat this lot. A scrappy first half much like Tuesday was, but no explosive second half as the adrenaline of that win didn't translate into today's game. Two OGs in two games not the way of this Simmo team #coyb (@LindaNi121202)

When we play them we always seem to sink down to their level and it’s irritating but it’s maybe what we needed to bring us back down to earth (@NavyDave94)

A blip, mistake from Huntington cost us a point but we were never going to get all three. That's not a dig at Huntington either as he has been outstanding as have they all, start again, onwards and upwards (@cufccraig1983)

It felt like we were in control and comfortable all game so it’s disappointing, we had more shots on target at our own end than they did. (@joeleigh95)

Good to see that responses on the thread are not overly critical. The game has gone now it’s in the past. So, as the focus has to move quickly to the next game after winning, the same is true when we lose. This team has learned quickly and will learn from this. (@CarlisleSaint)
