Former Carlisle United prospect Ryan Carr got his first outing in an Ipswich Town shirt today.
The teenager, who left the Blues for the League One club on transfer deadline day, got an outing for the Tractor Boys' Under-21s.
Carr was named in the Ipswich side to face Reading in a Professional Development League clash.
The 18-year-old's first taste of action for the Suffolk side ended in defeat, with Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan getting the only goal in the 72nd minute.
Midfielder Carr linked up with Ipswich on January 31 for an undisclosed fee, along with three other young new signings in Daniel O'Connor, Michael Lavin and Leon Ayinde.
Carr was the only one of those four to start the Reading game, with O'Connor and Ayinde among the Ipswich subs.
The ex-Blues youth team player - who made one first-team appearance for Carlisle before departing - is also included in the squad list submitted by Ipswich to the EFL after the closure of the January transfer window.
