A former Carlisle United youth defender has made a move in the National League.
Ben Richards-Everton has joined strugglers Scunthorpe United on loan from Yeovil Town.
It is a latest move in the career of the 31-year-old which has included spells at clubs including Bradford City, Barney, Accrington Stanley, Dunfermline Athletic and Tamworth.
That followed a start in the game as an under-18 player at Carlisle. He did not progress into the professional ranks at Brunton Park.
Richards-Everton joins the Iron at a time they are fighting to avoid a second consecutive relegation.
