They are the young supporters who have helped revitalise the atmosphere at Carlisle United.

And part of their backing for the Blues sees the young fans marching from the city centre to Brunton Park to show their support.

A group of the vocal young Blues, including a drummer, walked from the train station in Carlisle to the ground ahead of the Grimsby Town game.

Photographer Barbara Abbott captured them making their way to United's stadium - check out a gallery at the top of this article.

It was another occasion when the colourful backing of fans was on show, with a host of flags on display in the Waterworks End and around the ground - while the new-look Warwick Road End, which was painted by young fans recently, was also on show.

Their faith was once again rewarded with a 2-0 win that sent Paul Simpson's side up to second place in League Two.
