It's a sentiment we can all share when it comes to Owen Moxon - 'We hope he doesn't gan, 'cause that would be pure shan...'
The Carlisle United midfielder has had fans singing all season - and now a band have penned a musical tribute to the Dentom Holme star.
Written in Carlisle lingo, the tribute to Moxon has been penned by The Watterwucks, whose other recent number, 'Gannen Up Again', is doing the rounds among Blues fans.
Lead singer, known as Johnno Cavaghan, wrote the Moxon ditty after the Blues' 2-0 win over Grimsby Town.
Titled 'Moxon With A Fox On', it conveys the hope that the 25-year-old will remain in a United shirt for some time yet.
Or, as The Watterwucks put it, 'You'd never deek as good / Without a fox on'.

Other lines include 'He's from Denton Holme / He's one of our own / He makes the midfield tick / Like a human metronome.'
And also: 'If our team's stuck in a hole/ Our Owen he won't stroll / He'll nash around and chor the ball / And likely mek a goal.'
And not forgetting: 'We hope he doesn't gan / 'Cause that'd be pure shan / He'll tek us to the Prem / As part a Simmo's masterplan...'
The song also samples one of Moxon's recent club interviews when he talks about United's promotion push.
Johnno said: "Well, me and the other guitarist [Joshua Gray] have decided to tek things more seriously, eh, and write some more songs. We reckon we could be one of them classic writing teams, like Lennon and McCartney, Richards and Jagger.
"Imagine it, Cavaghan and Gray, representing Carlisle and that...
"Mox is one of our own, isn't he, and he's bloody brilliant. There's nowt like deeksing him control the midfield from the Warwick and this is a tribute to him.
"I'd be gutted if he left so thought we'd let him know how much it means to have him here. Mebbe he'll be a lifer now and end up managing us one day. Weirder things have happened, eh."
