The League Two promotion race could take further twists tonight with some of the chasing pack in action.
Bradford City and Stockport County will both be out to make up ground on the top three, with Sutton United also aiming to continue their climb.
In-form Bradford can move a point behind second-placed Carlisle United if they win their game in hand at Walsall.
Mark Hughes’ Bantams have won five of their last six games and sit fifth in the table – with former Blues striker Andy Cook in red-hot form with six goals in his last seven outings.
They have won their last three without conceding, and face a Walsall side who have not win in their last ten games in all competitions.
Michael Flynn’s Saddlers, who were beaten 1-0 at home by Barrow on Saturday, are 14th.
Stockport, meanwhile, can go two points outside the top three if they prevail against Gillingham at Edgeley Park.
Dave Challinor’s Hatters start the night in seventh place after their recent charge up the table.
A run of five straight wins, though, has been followed by a defeat and a draw, Stockport held at home by Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.
A return to winning ways against the 20th-placed Gills would take Stockport three points adrift of Carlisle.
Visitors Gillingham are eight points above the relegation zone after one defeat in their last five.
Play-off chasing Sutton will hope to progress further tonight when they take on struggling Crawley Town at Gander Green Lane.
Matt Gray’s Sutton are ninth, four points outside the play-off places, after a spell of one defeat in 12.
They host a second-bottom Crawley side who remain in deep relegation trouble, three points adrift of the safety line with three games in hand – and having lost their last five.
Two other games in the division tonight see 13th-placed Doncaster at home to a fellow Yorkshire outfit in fourth-bottom Harrogate Town, while 17th meet 18th when Grimsby Town host Newport County.
