Carlisle United fans gave us their views on Twitter after the 0-0 draw against promotion rivals Bradford City. Here's a selection of their comments.
Good point and a very competitive and solid performance. Felt the conditions affected the quality of the spectacle, lot of overhit passes into touch with the wind from both sides, head tennis etc. Almost nicked it at the death but a decent result nonetheless. (@mlgraham73)
A really good team performance. Half-time came at a bad time as we had them rattled. Only thing missing is perhaps a bit of composure in the final third. Second half, Bradford were the better team but we were excellent defensively. Guy imperious in the midfield. A good point. (@BenJoseph0157)
Thought we did everything but score. Defended well, both sides unlucky with the post. Needed a win after Saturday but can't complain too much really. (@krisfoster)
First half, we looked dominant, dangerous and inevitable. Second half we looked leggy, half a step off pace and a little too slow to act. I'll take a point, but that's one that we should and could have won. Barclay was excellent, as was Guy. Poor Jordan Gibson - so very close! (@EarnThtDanegeld)
Decent point. On top in the first half, they had more of the play in the second. They shaded it on chances (mainly created by our rare lack of concentration). Would have probably taken at the start of the game. (@CowellLes1975)
Unreal atmosphere. Solid at the back...just link-up for the attacks wasn’t clicking. Probably a fair result. (@CameronEllis_)
What a 97 minutes of League Two football - credit to two teams at it with each other, both could have nicked it late on, but back into automatic places on goal difference...I’ll take that from two tough, tough games, both stalemate but our unbeaten run continues, well done both sides (@IanWsanderson)
Good point from an excellent game, another magnificent defensive performance. We’re showing the grit you need to get out of this division. (@lewisrids3)
Great first half and almost won it at the death but in between we were rather wobbly at times. Everyone put in serious effort and I’m happy with a point. Need to get back into scoring habit though. (@tim_martland)
Proper game of football. Maybe should have created openings in first half...once they went direct and bypassed our midfield we struggled to have any control. Wasn't a night for our strikers to have any influence. Feel as though three points were there but a point is a point (@MartinCrellin1)
Was a tough game, very professional performance, bit worried how much the last two games have taken out of us - would start Gibson on Saturday to freshen it up. (@thegaffa)
Best game I've watched for a while, it could have gone either way but a point well deserved as they made us fight for it. (@Craiglewthwait2)
Brilliant point but must win on Saturday (@Ry_CUFC)
Didn’t show enough to win and didn’t deserve to lose it. Good to be back up to third but so many twists and turns to come before we know if it was a point well earned or missed opportunity for all three (@Glass942)
An industrious performance and we’ve shown against two skilfull and well organised sides that we are skilful and well organised too. (@griffsback)
We’ll take the point but the referee was terrible for both parties (@ftblwirtz)
It's good to come away with at least a point. Could have easily lost it on a few occasions. Why do we insist on long ball? We played so much better on the ground. What is happening to Dennis? Shadow of his former self (@Stuart47912160)
Football is all about ifs, buts and maybes, lots of twists still to come but a good away point against a team who are still in contention at a ground we lost on last year. On to Saturday, safe journey to everyone going with me and @tomwaro (@WaringPhil)
Very good point but current lack of goals a worry. The run-in now should favour us over the Cobblers though. (@NotInSeddon)
Good first half from United, some good possession and neat passing. Second half a different story, we were hemmed in and had a bit of luck, however all the points could have been ours with Gibson hitting the post. Hope Huntington is fit soon as he is a calming influence. COYB. (@peterjo91525330)
Looked solid at the back, Mox looks shattered and something is missing up front. (@PaulMar21281685)
Game of two halves! Bradford definitely be the more unhappy! Would've been some limbs if Gibbo's strike went in! UTB on to Gillingham! (@henryrich50)
