CALDEW School's under-12 netball team has been crowned Carlisle city champions.
The local school's netball team secured the title at the Under 12's Carlisle City Schools Netball Tournament which was held at Trinity School on Thursday, March 23.
The school entered the tournament off the back of an unbeaten netball season which started in September.
At the tournament, Caldew's netball team extended its unbeaten streak with convincing victories over other local schools such as Morton, Trinity, William Howard, Central, and Austin Friars.
Reflecting on the season of success for the school's team, PE teacher Jenny Flintoft said: "I am so proud of the girls, they have trained weekly since September and have shown a real commitment to improving their performance.
"They have not lost one match this year and have shown fantastic team spirit. I have high hopes for them during their time at Caldew and look forward to seeing what they can achieve in the future."
