This was the moment Brunton Park's biggest league crowd for a decade and a half saluted Carlisle United's victory over Tranmere Rovers.

An attendance of 13,410 - including 12,694 home fans - packed out United's ground on Good Friday.

And they celebrated a 2-0 victory for Paul Simpson's side that took them up to third in League Two.

Supporters responded to United's #10for10 ticket discount offer in their droves, with the Warwick Road End, Paddock, Main Stand and Pioneer Stand busier than at any other time this season.

For the first time since 2009, Blues fans were also in the Waterworks End, with all four sides of the ground giving Simmo's team a huge welcome before and after the game.

It added up to the largest home league crowd since 16,668 watched United defeat Leeds United in League One in November 2007.
