Penrith driver Frank Bird is targeting success in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS season which gets under way this month.
Bird is again part of the Haupt Racing Team and will drive in one of their Mercedes-AMG GT3s.
Cumbrian Bird and Australian team-mate Jordan Love will race in the sister car #77, with German team owner Hubert Haupt and Frenchman Sebastien Baud in the #79 GT3.
Bird and his team-mate will compete in selected rounds of the Endurance Sprint Cup season in the Silver Cup category, and will also battle for championship points in the main Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe.
The opening round is in Monza, Italy on April 22-23 in a season which runs until October.
Bird said: “I think we have been able to assemble a good combination.
“We want to compete as far up front as possible in both the Silver Cup and the overall standings.
“The Sprint Cup is a short championship where you can't afford to lose any points so I'm really looking forward to the first race in that series which is also my home race at Brands Hatch [on May 13-14].”
