Delighted Carlisle United fans gave their reaction to the News & Star on Twitter after the 1-0 win at Cumbrian rivals Barrow. Here is a selection of their comments:
Massive result, need to pack BP on Saturday and continue the atmosphere from Tuesday. Some big games still to be played amongst the top seven. CUFC need to do their work and see how it ends up. (@andrewhoddie)
It wasn’t pretty and a few players were off their game today but at this stage of the season will take three ugly points. (@hatkinson5527)
Battling away performance, definitely not pretty, vital three points. If we get to the play-offs, ball retention up front needs to massively improve. We invited far too much pressure in that second half. (@totheshore)
Not a game for the purists. A bit nervy throughout but especially at the end. Overall very pleased it’s over and we have the three points. Two wins could still see us promoted, two defeats and we could be out of the play-offs (@Glass942)
We were off it today and looked a bit jaded, Barrow were a physical team and it was a battle. Got the early scrappy goal and managed to hang on, although we had one or two chances to add to our tally but squandered them. Six points from next two games, and hope that others falter. As scrappy a game as you’ll see but the win's all that matters, bring on Salford and the stoppage time that comes with them. (@joeleigh95)

So my #letsbeatbarra didn't jinx us. Phew! No Cumbria Classico though, and seems to have attracted both ill feeling and a big bunch of sour grapes from Wild and co. Taking the points from such a game is great, nothing clear cut and a bit scrappy. Proper derby next season - Morecambe!!! (@LindaNi121202)
Who cares about performance, win's a win (@oscarwilde1984)
All roads lead to Brunton Park next Saturday. C’mon, let’s pack the ground out. (@dubhead77)
It’s a win - let’s take it to 1430 on coronation Monday and seal it then (@keithelliott94)
Poor game, but what matters is ball's in Barrow's net. I'm glad I don't have to put up with Pete Wild - minus the five minutes I mute of his drivel on BBC Cumbria every week (@dougrmurphy)
Was a good three points but was a rather laboured performance by United. Still hope for autos, two to go. Thank you Paul Farman (@ericgreen866)
WE'RE THE CARLISLE, THE MIGHTY CARLISLE, WE ALWAYS WIN AWAY (@leerooney)
Peeeeeeeeeeve!! (@cufc_andy17)
