Bradford City star Scott Banks says he is not worried about the Bantams’ barren recent record at Brunton Park.
Carlisle United’s play-off opponents have not won at the ground since 1985.
A draw on Saturday would be enough to see Bradford past Paul Simpson’s side and reach Wembley.
Crystal Palace loan winger Banks says the past does not come into his thinking ahead of the second leg.
“For me, personally, it’s not something I’m worried about,” Banks said.
“We showed we can beat them [on Sunday]. I don’t think they’re a better side than us at all.
“It’s not really something that plays on my mind. I’m looking forward to the game and what a feeling it will be if we get that trip to Wembley.”
Banks could come up against a parent club team-mate if fellow Palace man John-Kymani Gordon comes back into the Carlisle squad after suspension.
The Bradford loanee insisted he was happy with his side’s slender advantage even though he admitted he could have increased it.
“I’m delighted to be ahead, [although] it’s maybe a little bit disappointing we didn’t take a few more – my chance late in the first half I should have put away but the keeper makes a good save,” Banks said.
“Ultimately we’re in the lead and to take that into the second half we’re happy.”
Banks, meanwhile, said Bradford were not surprised in how Carlisle approached the game.
“We knew exactly what they were going to bring – make the game scrappy and difficult to play,” he said.
“We knew what we were going to get, we got that, but we battled really well and credit to the lads.
“I heard a lot of people saying we hadn’t scored against Carlisle this year and we hadn’t beaten them.
“That was true but I don’t think we showed any worry about that in this game.
“Hopefully it will be the same this week. Ultimately we want to get over the line and get to Wembley. I would give anything to get that and hopefully we can do it.”
