Carlisle United are on track for Brunton Park's biggest ever play-off attendance.
Saturday's League Two second-leg semi-final against Bradford City looks set to outstrip any previous play-off occasions at the ground.
Carlisle have had four previous play-off semi-final games at the ground.
The highest attendance of those came in 2008, when 12,873 watched the League One second-leg defeat to Leeds United.
With Carlisle on Tuesday announcing that home sales were close to 10,000 and Bradford selling their full 1,886 allocation with four days still to go, it appears things are on course to overtake that figure.
Carlisle's other play-off home games came in 1994, 2005 and 2017.
The first, of those against Wycombe Wanderers in Division Three in '94, attracted a 10,862 crowd as the Blues lost 2-0.
The second, against Aldershot in the Conference in '05 during Paul Simpson's first spell in charge, was watched by 10,803 fans as the Blues went through to the final after a dramatic penalty shoot-out.
The most recent play-off occasion at the ground, against Exeter City six years ago, drew an attendance of 9,708.
Carlisle yesterday announced they were restricting online ticket sales because of Bradford fans trying to buy tickets in home areas of the ground.
The Waterworks End terrace is again open to Blues fans as well as the Warwick Road End, Paddock, Main Stand and Pioneer Stand.
Bradford's fans will be in a section of the Pioneer Stand.
Last Sunday's away leg at Valley Parade saw a League Two record for a play-off semi-final crowd, with 20,575 at the game.
