A former Carlisle United youth prospect has linked up with Carlisle City.
Midfielder Dan Hill has joined the Northern League Division One club.
It follows his release from the Blues at the end of his academy deal last month.
Hill came through United's youth set-up and also spent time out on loan at Cleator Moor Celtic last season.
He was one of several players let go by the Blues who only retained one second-year under-18 player on pro terms - Kai Nugent.

Former Gretna defender Jack Dickinson has also signed for the Gillford Park club.
