Liam Delap, son of former Carlisle United favourite Rory, is back on the move.
The promising striker has joined Hull City on loan from Manchester City.
Delap, 20, has made a season-long move to the Tigers for the 2023/24 Championship season.
It follows previous loans with Stoke City and Preston North End for the England Under-20 international.
Hull boss Liam Rosenior said they had beaten off competition from rival Championship clubs as well as European sides to land Delap.
"He’s got outstanding physical attributes and is a great finisher," Rosenior told Hull's website.
Ex-Carlisle United star Delap on the move - to Israel
"He’s got freak speed, is aggressive and can run in behind, which is one of the areas we wanted to address. He’s someone the fans will really enjoy watching.
“He’s had an amazing education and upbringing at Manchester City. In the right team that plays to his strengths, he can be a real asset and I believe he’ll be a real asset for us moving forward.”
Delap's move comes after his father also joined a new club recently.
Rory has joined Israeli top-flight side Maccabi Tel Aviv as assistant head coach.
The ex-Blues star has linked up with new boss Robbie Keane, a former Republic of Ireland international team-mate.
