James Trafford has capped his unforgettable European Under-21 Championship campaign by being named in the team of the tournament.
The Cumbrian goalkeeper earned the accolade after keeping six clean sheets - as well as his dramatic exploits in the final.
Trafford wrote his name into English football history with his injury-time penalty save that helped the young Lions win the final 1-0.
The 20-year-old from Greysouthen has now earned the official praise of the UEFA Technical Observer panel as they put together their top XI from the tournament in Georgia and Romania.
Trafford was one of six England players to be named in the XI.
He was joined by Levi Colwill, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, James Garner, Curtis Jones and Anthony Gordon.
The latter was named player of the tournament.
Trafford became the first ever keeper to go an entire U21 Euro tournament without conceding.
He achieved shut-outs against the Czech Republic, Israel, Germany, Portugal, Israel again and then Spain - the latter in the most dramatic circumstances.
The former Carlisle United academy keeper, who is expected to join Burnley from Manchester City soon, made a remarkable double save in the dying moments of the final.
He first kept out Abel Ruiz's penalty then repelled a follow-up attempt as England held onto their 1-0 lead at the death.
Trafford was one of two Cumbrians to taste glory in the tournament, with defender Jarrad Branthwaite making one appearance at the Euros.
Finalists Spain made up the remainder of the UEFA select XI from the competition.
