Former Carlisle United man Lee Dykes is close to a move to Leeds United, according to reports.
The former Blues No2 is in "advanced talks" with the Elland Road club.
That is according to Football Insider, who say Dykes, currently technical director at Premier League club Brentford, could be set to make a move to the Championship.
Dykes has attracted respect for his work at the Bees, where his key role in their recruitment has helped the London club reach and then establish themselves in the Premier League.
The man who was a trusted recruitment chief and then assistant boss to Keith Curle at Carlisle is now tipped to replace Victor Orta in a sporting director role at Leeds following their relegation from the Premier League.
Dykes ,who the Mail report has also been interesting Tottenham Hotspur, has been at Brentford for four years after joining them from Bury.
Previously he had been with Carlisle from 2014-18 as a senior member of Curle's backroom team.
