Former Carlisle United goalkeeper Scott Simons has linked up with Carlisle City.
The 19-year-old played for the Gillford Park club in their latest pre-season friendly on Saturday.
City say Simons has signed Northern League forms with them as they build up to their 2023/24 campaign.
They hope the former United academy product will remain with them into the new Division One campaign.
Simons was in action for Jim Nichols' side in their 1-0 home defeat to Kendal Town on Saturday.
It saw the young keeper back in action following his release from the Blues at the end of last season.
Simons endured an injury-hit campaign at Brunton Park in 2022/23.

He was sidelined for spells with shoulder and thumb injuries.
The keeper had been handed pro terms by the club in June 2021 along with fellow teens Gabe Breeze and Sam Fishburn.
But his hopes of progressing further with a loan move last term were dashed by injury.
City hope Simons can now kickstart his young career with them, at a club which has taken on a string of former Blues academy players in recent times, including the signing of former United youth team player Dan Hill this summer.
Simons could get another outing when City host Workington Reds at the Three Rivers Health & Safety Consultancy Stadium on Tuesday night.
