Former Carlisle United defender Kelvin Mellor is back on the move.
He has joined League Two club Accrington Stanley.
Mellor has left fellow fourth-tier outfit Crewe Alexandra to sign a one-year deal at the Wham Stadium.
It is Mellor's latest move a year after his departure from the Blues.
And it could put the 32-year-olds in opposition to his former club when United go to Accrington in the EFL Trophy in the new campaign.
Accrington boss John Coleman, whose side were relegated from League One last season, said: "Kelvin brings a lot of experience, that's something we have needed,
"Even just training with him for one day, we saw how well he talked, how well he organised the defence and I think his experience will be invaluable.

"He has also experienced promotion from League Two a number of times, so he knows what it takes to get out of this league."
Ex-Morecambe, Blackpool, Bradford City and Plymouth Argyle defender Mellor made 25 appearances for the Cumbrians in the 2021/22 season under Chris Beech, Keith Millen and Paul Simpson.
