Former Carlisle United attacker Nathan Thomas will face Workington Reds next season after making a non-league move.
He has joined Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit Marske United.
It follows his departure from York City.
Thomas' move to Marske will see him team up with his former Carlisle team-mate Jason Kennedy.
Marske have described Thomas as the biggest signing in their history and manager Graeme Lee, speaking on the club website, said of the 28-year-old: "We’ve been in conversations for a few weeks now, trying to persuade him, trying to get him down.
“He’s played a few games for us. He’s a hell of a talent, and a hell of coup for us as a club to bring someone of his ability with what he has done in the game so far.
The biggest signing in our history!
