Carlisle United’s latest newly-refurbished lounge at Brunton Park opened on Saturday.
The RAW Lounge is the new name for McConnell’s Bar on the west side of the ground.
It has been sponsored by Carlisle-based RAW Insurance Brokers.
The firm’s directors Stephen Ward and Ryan Roberts say they were keen to give their backing to the Blues by taking on the lounge.
Mr Ward told the News & Star: “We just decided we wanted to support the club in whichever way we possibly could.
“Debbie [Huddart, United’s commercial sales manager] kindly offered us the chance to take on what was the McConnells’ Bar as the RAW Lounge.
“We had a box a couple of seasons ago which we no longer have, but we think this is a much better space to share the matchday experience with supporters and customers alike.
“Me and Ryan who own RAW are both Carlisle United fans, local lads, and we’re chuffed to bits to be supporting the club.”
The lounge, featuring new artwork as part of RAW’s sponsorship, also retains images of legendary former captain Peter McConnell after whom the facility was previously named.
A season-long membership package is available for the lounge which includes a Paddock season-ticket, food (self service, and bowl food and a pasty at full-time.
Game by game the price for access to the RAW Lounge is £15.
