Carlisle United fans gave us their views on Twitter after the 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic.
Here is a selection of their comments.
The intro to League One we were finally expecting/waiting on (no disrespect to Fleetwood/Oxford) Smith, Aasgard, McManaman all looking at least this level, but second half we battled hard and did well which should give us massive confidence! Also nice of Wyke not to celebrate (@mancumbrianmike)
Played miles better in second half when we had a go at them, rather than first half where we just stood off them and watched them pass it about. The trick is to repeat that second 45 minutes for the whole game on Saturday to get three points against Exeter. (@tashkentterror)
First half we found out the step up in pace and quality from League 2. Second half there was a tactical change but a big step up in intensity, if we can keep that level and the crowd backing we can compete with anyone in this league. (@andrewhoddie)
An excellent second half display after a difficult first. This should be a huge confidence boost for the squad against one of the leagues favourites. An Oxford win at Derby maybe puts our result against them in context too. (@scholes_peter)
Good point against a strong side. That 2nd half performance needs to be our minimum benchmark now. (@NotInSeddon)
Well that was a brilliant comeback and we really gave them a game 2nd half. We kept them in their half for periods and showed what we can do. Once again the ref showed quality is wanting in these officials, and his lack of even handedness was noticeable especially 1st half. (@LindaNi121202)
Thought that was our best starting line-up. Gibson seems better when McCalmont is not on the pitch. Even a half-fit Mox makes us more competitive and Plange was a revelation off the bench. At last we looked like scoring goals from open play. (@JHallHDI)
Wigan looked a quality side and were way on top first half. In the second the fight and spirit of the side got us back in the game and was great to watch (@Glass942)
Should take confidence from that. It shows we can compete at this level, and we will get better. (@dubhead77)
Massive improvement in the 2nd half, still think we are an out-and-out striker short, which I know the club are trying to get in. Need to keep Mox, but the signs look good (@MSef2304)
Thought we were going to be blown away first half but it was a great second half performance and some fine personal performances from our team. This should give the team a big boost as Wigan are a top team. (@peterjo91525330)
Thought Ryan had one of his better games tonight, never stopped running (@KennyWheadon)
Second half was good. Need some decent wingers. Plange worked hard but should have scored, rather he plodded about but actually hit the back of the net (@carlisletom)
Great point (@knoxywire)
