Carlisle United loanee Max Kilsby is back on the goal trail with Annan Athletic.
The Blues defender scored on his third appearance of the season as Peter Murphy's side chalked up a welcome victory.
Kilsby, whose goals in last season's play-offs helped Annan to promotion, opened the scoring in the SPFL Trust Cup clash with Stranraer on Tuesday night.
The 19-year-old met a Dominic Docherty corner to volley home in the first half.
Kilsby's goal came shortly before half-time as Annan fought back from Oliver McDonald's Stranraer opener.
Goals in the second half from Docherty and Aidan Smith then handed Murphy's men a 3-1 win at Galabank.
It was a welcome victory for newly-promoted Annan after defeats in their previous six outings in league and cup.
Next up for Kilsby and his team-mates is a derby trip to Queen of the South in the league on Saturday.
Kilsby, who spent last season with Murphy's side in Scottish League Two, recently rejoined them for the first half of their League One campaign.
The left-sided defender is set to gain more valuable first-team experience under Brunton Park legend Murphy.
His team-mates at Galabank include former Carlisle midfielder Josh Dixon, who has made five starts and one sub outing so far this campaign.
