Ex-Carlisle United loanee Sonny Hilton has issued his thanks to Fulham following his departure from the Premier League club.
The attacking midfielder, who spent the first half of last season with the Blues, commented on the move on social media.
Hilton, 22, had been with the Craven Cottage club for eight years.
But he will now move on to a new challenge.
"I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff and players @fulhamfc," he wrote on Instagram.
"For the past eight years Fulham has been my home, moving down as a boy and leaving as a man but it’s my time to move on.
"I wish everyone at the club the best of luck for the future."
Hilton joined Fulham from Tranmere and came through the London club's academy.
After a loan spell at Finnish club TPS in 2021, he joined Carlisle on loan at the start of last season.
But an injury-hit spell saw him make just ten appearances before he returned to the Cottagers halfway through his season-long loan.
He was then named on the club's end-of-season released list alongside nine other players.
Hilton's time with Fulham's Under-21s saw him play alongside current United loan forward Terry Ablade.
