A football fan has been issued with a stadium ban after entering the pitch during a game involving Carlisle United.
The Port Vale supporter admitted to the offence during last month's game against the Blues at Vale Park.
The 52-year-old, the Valiants say, will not be able to buy tickets for Port Vale games for "a minimum" of three months.
The incident, they say, took place during Vale's 1-0 League One win over Carlisle on August 26, which was attended by 6,997 fans.
A statement from the home club said:
"Port Vale Football Club have handed a 3-month stadium ban to a 52-year-old supporter who entered the field of play during our Sky Bet League One match against Carlisle United.
"The supporter met members of the club’s safety and security team and admitted to the offence which took place Saturday 26th August 2023 and will not be able to purchase tickets at Vale Park for a minimum of 3 months.
"The club would like to remind all supporters that entering the field of play at any time is not accepted and any individual found doing so will face banning orders from the club and potential criminal charges."
