It is the first time Blues fans will have visited the Trotters' ground - United's only previous trip coming behind closed doors during the Covid-hit 2020/21 season.
Away games against Bolton before that were at their previous home of Burnden Park.
Carlisle quickly sold an initial 1,965 tickets for the October 7 game, leading them to ask Bolton for more.
A further 1,751 were sent and those have been snapped up in two days.
United fans will be in the Franking Sense South Stand at Bolton's stadium.
