Peter Murphy’s side were thrashed 5-0 by Hamilton Academical on Friday night.

Defender Max Kilsby started the game and completed another 90 minutes for the Galabank side.

It was an eighth Scottish League One appearance of the season for the 19-year-old – while 18-year-old midfielder Kai Nugent came off the bench in the 84th minute for his second league outing.

But Annan were overpowered by the division’s second-placed side at New Douglas Park.

Next up for Murphy’s eighth-placed side and their young Blues loanees is a trip to ninth-placed Cove Rangers next Saturday.
