Former Carlisle United star Jamie Devitt has signed for Workington Reds.
In a major coup for the Borough Park club, the midfielder has linked up with his former team-mate Danny Grainger until the end of the season.
Devitt had been a free agent since being released from Carlisle in theΒ summer following a second spell with the club.
The experienced Irish playmaker has been recovering from a long-term hamstring injury.
And he has now opted to join Grainger's in-form Northern Premier League Premier Division side.

Devitt, 33 has been training with Workington, who sit fifth in NPL Premier after three straight wins.
He will now bolster Grainger's bid to maintain the west Cumbrian side's progress after last season's promotion.
Devitt's second Carlisle spell brought 21 appearances with the Dubliner a valued member of Paul Simpson's squad as they recovered from the threat of relegation in 2022 to win League Two promotion the following year.
His previous United stint brought 130 appearances and 22 goals. The midfielder's other previous clubs include Morecambe, Barrow, Blackpool, Hull City, Grimsby Town and Chesterfield.
He played alongside Reds boss Grainger during the latter's spell as Carlisle captain from 2016-19.
