Keith Millen endured a day to forget in his second game back in the dugout - after being sent off in bizarre fashion.
The Gillingham caretaker manager was shown a red card for tripping Walsall player Tom Knowles as he went to take a throw-in.
The sending-off capped a miserable day for the ex-Carlisle United boss as his Gills side went down to a 4-1 defeat at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.
Millen won his first game at the temporary helm following the sacking of Neil Harris, but Saturday's game saw the Kent side slump.
The flashpoint came in the 28th minute with the score still 0-0...

Millen, head of academy coaching at Gillingham, is back in the hotseat some 20 months after the end of his short-lived Carlisle reign.
He was in charge at Brunton Park from October 2021 to February 2022 before the return of Paul Simpson.
