Carlisle United have confirmed the latest addition to Paul Simpson's backroom staff.
Adam Kwiecien has joined the Blues as strength and conditioning coach.
The 28-year-old replaces Jamie Roper, who is moving on from Brunton Park.
Kwiecien, who was previously head of performance at National League club Aldershot Town, came out on top in the recent recruitment process at United.
He will join a department which recently expanded with the arrival of Paul Simpson's son Jake as head of performance.
Manager Simpson said: "I'm really pleased to get Adam in and to be able to start working with him.
"I think he's another really good addition to our staff and hopefully he will help the football club moving forward."
Jake Simpson, also speaking on United's website, added: "I am very pleased to add Adam to the department.
"He was somebody whose CV stood out from the off and impressed us all throughout the interview process.
"I am confident he will fit into the group of staff we currently have and will be able to play a key role in our strength & conditioning department.
"It is important we get the right people in the building to support the players in every way possible and I feel this appointment will allow us to do that."
Kwiecien has also worked at Swindon Town, non-league club PFC Victoria London, and the Magic Football Academy in the capital.
He has a BSc in Sport Science and Coaching and an MSc in Strength and Conditioning.
