Carlisle United star Jordan Gibson has been nominated for the League One player of the month award.
The attacking midfielder's impressive performances have earned him a place on the October shortlist.
Gibson's outstanding month included a memorable hat-trick in Carlisle's 3-1 win at Bolton Wanderers on October 7.
He also scored United's equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Peterborough United and added another in the 2-1 win over Burton Albion, also providing the cross which led, via Terry Ablade's assist, to Joe Garner's winner that night.
Gibson, 25, has been arguably United's best player since promotion and his place on the shortlist is his reward.
He is up against Wycombe Wanderers defender Luke Leahy, Charlton Athletic forward Alfie May and Portsmouth defender Conor Shaughnessy.
The award citation for Gibson says: "The 25-year-old accounted for all of his side’s six goals in October, which brought seven points.
"He scored five from his position wide on the right, including a hat-trick in the 3-1 win at Bolton, while his cross brought the winner against Burton."
Gibson is United's top scorer with his five goals so far.
The judging panel for the SkyBet League One award comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, EFL chief executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
The winner will be announced on Friday.
The division's manager of the month nominees for October, meanwhile, are Cheltenham Town's Darrell Clarke, Barnsley's Neill Collins, Portsmouth's John Mousinho and Bolton's Ian Evatt.
