Former Carlisle United midfielder Danny Devine is back on the move in non-league.
The 26-year-old has joined Gainsborough Trinity.
Devine, a Carlisle player from 2020 to 2022, has made a permanent move to the Northern Premier League Premier Division side from rivals Guiseley.
It sees the midfielder reunited with his former Farsley Celtic boss Russ Wilcox in a division which also includes Workington Reds.
Devine, since leaving Carlisle in the summer of 2022, has also played for Chester, but now hopes his career can progress at Gainsborough.
"I'm hoping to get into the team and showing you what I can do," he told the club website.
"I know it won’t be easy as it’s a good group and the team are in good form of late.
"My aim is to win as many games as possible and help take us up the table in what will hopefully be a successful season."
Manager Wilcox said Devine is "an excellent passer of the ball and a very strong competitor". Devine made his debut as a substitute in Gainsborough's 2-1 win over Bradford Park Avenue.
The former Bradford City man made 35 appearances for Carlisle during an injury-hit spell under Chris Beech, Keith Millen and Paul Simpson.
