It's the news Carlisle United have been waiting for - Luke Armstrong is now a fully-fledged Blues player.
United have confirmed that the record signing's move to Brunton Park on a three-and-a-half year deal has finally been rubber-stamped.
Carlisle had been waiting for confirmation this week amid discussions with the player's agency and the Football Association.
But the Cumbrians have now announced that the situation has been finalised - and, subject to the clearance of routine paperwork, former Harrogate Town striker Armstrong can make his debut against Exeter City this weekend.
United had agreed terms for the transfer last month and expected it to be finalised on January 1.

A delay kept Carlisle waiting this week but the remaining details have now been sorted and United have officially announced the completed signing of the ex-Salford City and Hartlepool United finisher.
The Cumbrians have confirmed that Armstrong's deal keeps him at Brunton Park until the summer of 2027.
The fee is officially undisclosed but the News & Star revealed last month that the deal will surpass United's previous transfer record, the £140,000 paid to Blackburn Rovers for Joe Garner in 2007.
The news means United are set to have three new signings in their ranks for the game against bottom-four rivals Exeter on Saturday.
Earlier today Carlisle confirmed the permanent arrival of Sheffield United midfielder Harrison Neal.
And he was followed through the door by Crystal Palace loan defender Seán Grehan.
Heading the other way was Luke Plange, the striker returning to Palace after United decided against pursuing an extension to his half-season loan.
