One of Carlisle United's fellow League One strugglers have appointed a new manager.
Burton Albion, who sit 17th, have hired Martin Paterson as successor to Dino Maamria.
The former Northern Ireland international striker was recently assistant to Michael Duff at Swansea City.
The 36-year-old now makes his first step into front line management as Burton look to move clear of relegation trouble.
Paterson, Burton say, will work with the current backroom staff at the Pirelli Stadium, including caretaker Gary Mills.
He has been in temporary charge for the last month after the sacking of Maamria.
Burton chairman Ben Robinson, in a statement, said: "Martin...brings great experience as a player and as a coach and we believe he’s the right candidate to become our new manager.

“We were impressed with Martin’s vision for the future and his understanding of what we are all about as a football club and at 36, we see the same abilities and potential that we have successfully recognised when we appointed Neil Warnock, Nigel Clough and Gary Rowett as young managers.
“The priority now is on making sure we secure our League One status and then start building for the future of Burton Albion."
Former Burnley striker Paterson said he was "honoured" to take the role and added: "I have developed my coaching over several years and have extensive experience of being an assistant coach at first team level most recently at Inter Miami, Barnsley and Swansea.
"I am ready to take this step and make the natural transition to manager.
Paterson's first game in charge comes against Derby County next Monday. The Brewers sit five points above the relegation zone.
They lost 2-1 to Carlisle at Brunton Park in October, and take on the Blues at the Pirelli Stadium on February 13.
