Helen Housby returns to the international arena with England this weekend.
The Cumbrian netball star is back in the Vitality Roses squad for the Nations Cup - a four-team tournament held in London and Leeds.
Housby, 28, will lead England’s attack in her first outings of 2024, following a stellar year which ended with her being awarded an MBE.
She was also named the player of the World Cup and will be a key figure as Jess Thirlby’s side take on Uganda She Cranes, Australian Diamonds and New Zealand Silver Ferns.
England’s campaign begins against Uganda on Saturday at 5.15pm in the OVO Arena, Wembley, before a clash with Australia on Sunday at 4.15pm.
They then encounter New Zealand next Saturday at Leeds’ First Direct Arena with the third-place play-off and final the following day.
England head coach Thirlby said: "Competition in January always presents a great opportunity for us and this Nations Cup will be another step up and brilliant test for our young, talented squad.
"With an intense format of two back-to-back match weekends, against diverse styles of play and a final to compete for, it's set to be the perfect platform to continue to showcase what our team are capable of.
"It's great to welcome back two of our World Cup silver medallists and fan favourites Natalie Metcalf and Helen Housby, as well as Razia Quashie who was forced to miss the South Africa series due to personal reasons, alongside the 11 from our most recent series squad."
All the Nations Cup games will be shown on Sky Sports Mix.
