Carlisle United's fellow League One strugglers Shrewsbury Town have sacked head coach Matt Taylor.
The division's 19th-placed side have axed the boss after just seven months in charge.
A poor run of form, culminating in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at high-flying Peterborough United, has seen the Shrews act.
They are seven points above the relegation zone after 28 games, but a run of six league defeats in seven games has spelled the end for ex-Walsall boss Taylor.
In a statement, Shrewsbury said: "It is with regret that Shrewsbury Town have decided to part company with head coach Matt Taylor.
"Matt arrived at the Croud Meadow in June and has always conducted himself with professionalism and integrity.

"But following a run that has seen us lose seven of our last eight games, the club feels a change is needed to improve results and performances on the pitch.
"Alongside Matt, assistant head coach Marcus Bignot has also left the club.
"Town would like to wish both Matt and Marcus the best of luck for the future.
"We will now begin the search for a new head coach."
Taylor was appointed last summer as successor to Steve Cotterill.
Among his early signings was the former Carlisle captain Morgan Feeney, who has made 23 appearances for the Shropshire side so far this season.
Carlisle-born ex-Blues striker Ryan Bowman is also in the Salop squad.
Taylor's side were the first to be beaten by United in the 2023/24 season, losing 2-0 at Brunton Park on September 2.
The sides meet again at the Croud Meadow on March 16.
Shrewsbury's decision means that three of the bottom six teams in League One have changed managers this campaign.
Bottom side Fleetwood Town have dismissed two bosses in Scott Brown and Lee Johnson, while Cheltenham Town axed Wade Elliott early in the campaign.
