The striker has sealed his switch to the A-League outfit after his recent Blues exit.
Edmondson has signed a two-and-a-half year deal at a club that sees him reunited with his former Leeds United coach Mark Jackson.
The 22-year-old has spoken of his delight at making the move Down Under.
“I’m buzzing to be here, it was a lot of travel but everything is done, we've got it over the line and I’m excited to be here," he told the Mariners website.

"I’ve known Jacko and [fellow coach] Danny Schofield for a long, long time now.
"Jacko was a massive part of my development coming through the Leeds United academy. I've worked with him very closely for years now.
"When he told me about the project over here, the identity of not only the team but the community around the place, it really spoke out to me and was something I’d love to be a part of.
"When I got the opportunity to do so, I just couldn’t turn it down."
Jackson said of the arrival of the former Blues frontman: “I’m delighted to have Ryan on board with the team, he is a player that I have worked with before and know really well.
“I know what Ryan can bring to this team. I think he will add to the squad greatly and add the competition that we need for places. I’m really excited to have him here with us on the Coast.”
Edmondson could make his debut against Brisbane Roar tomorrow. His new club are fourth in the A-League.
The forward agreed his departure by mutual consent at Carlisle last week.
He made 53 appearances and scored seven goals for the Cumbrians in two-and-a-half seasons.
