The promising teenage defender son of former Carlisle United favourite Rory Delap has signed a new deal with his League One club.
Finn Delap, 18, has been awarded a new one-year deal at Burton Albion.
And the youngster could feature for the Brewers' first-team squad between now and the end of the season.
Delap jnr has impressed on loan with non-league club Mickleover FC in the first half of the campaign.
That has promoted the Brewers to reward him with new terms.
We would also like to announce that @delap_finn has returned to @burtonalbionfc after a very successful loan❤️🖤

"Young defender Finn Delap has penned a new one-year deal at Burton Albion and will return to the club following a successful loan spell at Mickleover FC," said Burton in a statement.
"Finn has been a stand-out performer this season for former Brewers player John McGrath’s Sports’ side and will be available to feature in Martin Paterson’s squad for the remainder of the Sky Bet League One season."
Mickleover also spoke highly of the young player as he returned to his parent club.
"Finn has been the perfect professional during his time at the club, and we wish him nothing but success in the future," they said.
"Finn has been incredible since he joined in the summer, and he deserves all the success that is coming for him in his future."
Delap jnr has come through the Burton academy before signing a one-year deal last summer.
He had a loan deal at Ilkeston Town last season before this campaign's temporary switch to the Southern Premier League Central.
He is one of two Delap brothers making their way in the game, with England Under-21 striker Liam, 20, currently on loan at Hull City from Manchester City.
Dad Rory, meanwhile, is assistant head coach at Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv under boss Robbie Keane.
The 47-year-old's side are currently top of the Israeli Premier League. Delap was previously a coach at Stoke City and Derby County.
Carlisle go to Burton Albion on Tuesday, February 13.
