Carlisle United have confirmed the appointment of a new first-team analyst.
Glenn Boden has joined the Blues from Scunthorpe United.
The National League North clubs earlier today announced Boden's departure and said he was joining Carlisle.
United have since confirmed to the News & Star that Boden has joined the club.
Boden becomes the second senior analyst in Paul Simpson's first-team footballing department at Brunton Park alongside Jacob Blain.
Owner Tom Piatak this week said that the new analyst would help with the team's preparation for games, with a focus on opposition analysis, enabling Blain to help Greg Abbott and Simpson on recruitment.
The new arrival has been at Scunthorpe since 2018, initially as head of academy analysis, before stepping up to head of football analysis four years later.
He was also head of academy strength and conditioning for a 16-month period.
Scunthorpe, in announcing the departure of Boden as well as physio Dorian Mars who is joining the NHS, said the club "would like to thank both Dorian and Glenn for their hard work, professionalism and endeavour during their time with the football club, and wish them all the very best for the future."
Boden, a graduate in sport, exercise and coaching science from the University of Hull, is the latest addition to Simpson's backroom team with Billy Barr also returning to the club today as first-team coach.
Their arrivals follow other recruits this season, including head of performance Jake Simpson and strength and conditioning coach Adam Kwiecien.
The Blues are also recruiting another physio.
