One of the members of Carlisle United's last League One side has a new role in the National League.
Former defender Danny Butterfield has joined Eastleigh as assistant manager.
It sees the 44-year-old back in the game after his departure from League One club Lincoln City last October.
Butterfield has linked up with new Eastleigh boss Kelvin Davis at the National League's 15th-placed club.
The new regime have come in after the departure of previous manager Richard Hill earlier this week.
It follows a poor run of results at the Hampshire club.
Former Southampton keeper Davis was previously a coach with the Saints but now takes his first managerial role.
He is assisted by a man in Butterfield who played for Greg Abbott's struggling United in the 2013/14 campaign.
He joined the Blues from Bolton Wanderers but only managed two United appearances in the latter stages of Abbott's tenure.
After appearances against Colchester United and in the League Cup against Leicester City, the ex-Crystal Palace favourite moved on after Abbott's departure and went on to join Exeter City.
Most recently Butterfield, who has also coached at Southampton, MK Dons and Macclesfield Town, was No2 to Mark Kennedy at Lincoln before his sacking in October.
Eastleigh's squad included, until recently, United loanee Jayden Harris, who made 15 appearances in a three-month spell before returning to Brunton Park last month.
