A number of ex-Carlisle United players are looking for new clubs after the end of the National League season.
Former Blues frontman Hallam Hope is set to leave Oldham Athletic along with fellow ex-United man Brennan Dickenson plus Dan Langley, the goalkeeper who was on trial at Brunton Park last summer.
And Adam Clayton is moving on from Rochdale.
The news follows the publication of retained and released lists following the end of the fifth-tier campaign.
While Oldham only listed players who were out of contract, not specifying who was being released, the Oldham Times say Hope, Dickenson and Langley will all be moving on.
In Hope's case it ends a three-year spell at Boundary Park for the 30-year-old.
He joined the Latics under former United boss Keith Curle in 2021 and has made 83 appearances, scoring 12 goals.
Left-sided Dickenson, who joined Oldham last summer, made 16 appearances for the club and scored five goals, while he also had a loan spell with Hartlepool United last season.
Former Newcastle United keeper Langley, who played a number of trial games for Carlisle last year before joining Blyth Spartans, did not make a first-team appearance for the Boundary Park club following his move last November.
Oldham's retained list includes Joe Garner, the veteran striker who joined them from Carlisle on an 18-month deal in January, and former Blues keeper Magnus Norman, while ex-United loan man Ethan Walker has returned to parent club Blackburn Rovers.
In Clayton's case, meanwhile, the veteran midfielder is leaving Rochdale at the end of his contract.
The 35-year-old joined Dale last summer and made 27 appearances for the National League club in 2023/24.
Another National League club, Aldershot, have offered ex-United trialist striker Kwame Thomas a new deal.
Former Blues man Angelo Balanta "remains in talks" with relegated Boreham Wood.
