Carlisle United will face a new EFL opponent next season after Bromley clinched promotion from the National League.
The Ravens defeated Solihull Moors in the fifth tier play-off final after a penalty shoot-out where ex-Blues defender Byron Webster struck the winning kick.
The veteran centre-back had the decisive moment in the shoot-out at Wembley after the game had finished 2-2 after extra-time.
Webster captained the London club into the EFL for the first time in their history, with another ex-Blues man, striker Olufela Olomola, a substitute in the final and also a scorer in the shoot-out.
Andy Woodman's side had led twice in normal time, thanks to goals from Michael Cheek, the latter a penalty.

After extra-time could not separate the sides, Bromley prevailed 4-3 on penalties. Tyrese Shade and Joss Labadie denied from the spot for Solihull, Ashley Charles unsuccessful for Bromley but the rest of the Ravens' takers holding their nerve to secure promotion.
Ex-United striker Mark Beck was an unused substitute for Solihull.
