The Lake District is a regular destination for celebrities and sportspeople but the arrival of a Manchester City legend still left staff at Lodore Falls starstruck.
The Lodore Falls Hotel and Spa in Keswick is no stranger to superstars, having welcomed Tommy Fury and Molly Mae-Hague in 2022 and The Wanted's Max George earlier this year.
However, it was perhaps the first time the luxury spa on the edge of Derwentwater had seen a world-class footballer stay the night.
Bernardo Silva, who will also represent Portugal at this summer's European Championships, has been a staple of Pep Guardiola's side since signing from AS Monaco in 2017.
The talented midfielder will have enjoyed a good night's rest ahead of City's crucial upcoming Premier League games as they battle Arsenal and Liverpool in their aim to win a fourth successive title.
Silva will also be hoping to feature against fierce rivals Manchester United at Wembley in this month's FA Cup final.
Lodore Falls wrote: "We have just had the pleasure of hosting Manchester City's legendary Bernardo Silva who stayed with us last night! Thank you so much for choosing the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa and we hope to welcome you back."
