Former Carlisle United striker Offrande Zanzala is part of an eight-man clear-out at Newport County.
The League Two club have decided not to offer the frontman a new deal.
Zanzala, 27, leaves after two years at Rodney Parade.
In that time he scored six goals in 34 appearances during a spell which included injury problems.
He departs south Wales after County's 18th-placed finish in the fourth tier.
Joining him in leaving Newport are Omar Bogle, Joe Day, Declan Drysdale, James Waite, Jonny Maxted, Harrison Bright and Sam Bowen.
Zanzala had joined Newport in the summer of 2022 after a stint with Barrow and a loan spell with Exeter City.
Before that, the Congolese striker spent the second half of the 2020/21 campaign with Chris Beech's Carlisle.
He scored five goals in 22 appearances, including a solo strike against Southend United which was United's goal of the season.
Previously Zanzala was with Derby County, Accrington Stanley and Crewe Alexandra, along with loan clubs Stevenage and Chester.
Meanwhile, ex-Carlisle striker Paddy Madden is being linked with a move to newly-promoted Chesterfield.
Madden is leaving Stockport County after their promotion to League One.
And reports, including from the Manchester Evening News, suggest he will link up with the Spireites ahead of the 2024/25 League Two season.
