CARLISLE United manager Paul Simpson has sent a special message to the club's 3,000th supporter who purchased a season ticket for the 2024/25 season. 

United will be looking to bounce back from their relegation from the third tier last campaign and have asked supporters to continue backing the Blues. 

As part of this drive, the Carlisle United boss sent a special message to the supporter who bought the 3,000th season ticket ahead of the 24/25 League Two campaign. 

In a video posted on the club's social media channels, Simpson called the supporter to thank them for their continued support and asked them to behind his team as they step up preparation for the upcoming season.

He said: "I'm just calling to congratulate your family. You were the 3,000th supporter to renew their season ticket.

"I wanted to give you a call to thank you and congratulate you and I hope you look forward to next season, hopefully it is a good one.

"I will look forward to your support next season and let's make it a good one."

Carlisle United will find out their 2024/25 schedule next week when the EFL releases the Championship, League One, and League Two fixture list.

The full list will be released on Wednesday, June 26 at 9 am, with the Blues set to kick off their 24/25 League Two campaign on Saturday, August 10. 

United also return for pre-season training on Monday, June 24 before a busy pre-season schedule which will see them in action six times.
