Carlisle United have revealed their squad numbers for 2024/25 - with some notable changes as well as a few key shirts still to be filled.
The Blues have confirmed the squad numbers to be held by their 22 first-team squad members to date.
Their four new signings all feature, with Aaron Hayden regaining the number 6 - which he held at the end of his previous spell at Brunton Park. That number was vacated by the released captain Paul Huntington.
Fellow defender Terell Thomas will wear number 4, with left-sided Cameron Harper occupying the number 20 and goalkeeper Jude Smith taking number 23.
Harper previously wore 3 at former club Inverness Caledonian Thistle, but Jack Armer retains that number at Carlisle.
Of the players retained from last season, there are some notable changes, with Harry Lewis cemented as first-choice goalkeeper as he takes the number 1 jersey, having had number 40 after his mid-season signing last term - a time when Tomas Holy was the squad's No1.
Midfielder Alfie McCalmont, meanwhile, is now number 24, having previously worn number 10.
Fellow middle man Josh Vela now has the number 16 shirt, having worn 36 after his January move last season.
Luke Armstrong has switched from 35 to 29 - the latter having been his number during his successful goalscoring spell at Harrogate Town.
Harrison Neal moves from 33 to 17, while Anton Dudik switches from 37 to 25.
Many other players have retained their previous squad numbers, with Sam Lavelle still 5, Callum Guy number 8, Georgie Kelly 9, Dan Butterworth 11, Taylor Charters 15, Dylan McGeouch 21, Jon Mellish 22 and Ben Barclay 26.
Some prominent numbers yet to be claimed include 2 - typically going to a right-sided defender - and the more creative midfield numbers of 7 and 10, vacated respectively by Jordan Gibson and McCalmont. United are keen to add a number of further signings ahead of the new season.
