CARLISLE United's Brunton Park hosted over 800 fans as England played out a scoreless draw with Slovenia.

Hundreds of Three Lions supporters were present at Brunton Park as Gareth Southgate's side failed to find the net in their final Euro 2024 group stage match.

However, despite the lack of quality on the pitch, there was a quality atmosphere in the fan zone, with fans making the most of the bars, food, and DJ entertainment.

She said: "It's brilliant, this is exactly what we were hoping for.

"We are a club that often talks about being a part of our community so to have something like this where people can come with their families and as a group of friends, it is really nice.

"You've got families here who may not want to go to the pub or people who don't want to go out on their own and there is a really nice feel and everyone is in good spirits even if the score is not the best."

He said: "I think it is only going to grow and grow, it is certainly the place to be to watch the Euros, anybody who is anywhere near Carlisle needs to get down here and participate in this because it is absolutely brilliant."
